During a recent interview with Breitbart News, Former President Trump warned Republicans about falling into Democrat traps. During the interview, the former president discussed what he believes happened to many GOP candidates in the 2022 elections. As the Democrats mentioned a Republican cut to Social Security and raised the abortion question in debates, it left Republican candidates vulnerable. And Republican voters, along with Democratic and Independent voters cared very much about those issues during the election cycle, and still do.
During the election’s final weeks, President Joe Biden and other Democrats promoted conversations on Republicans cutting Social Security, which Trump feels ended the careers of some GOP members. “It’s a contract with the people. They’ve paid. They’ve worked. They’re entitled to it.” Which Trump stated he would never cut if he were in office.
The other issue Democrats used to trap Republicans, according to Trump, was abortion. Despite nominating three Supreme Court justices critical to overturning Roe v. Wade, Trump said that to succeed Republicans needed to support the three exceptions. Those being rape, incest, and the life of the mother. Without the three exceptions, Trump stated “you can’t win” in most of the country, or on a large scale. However, he did add you should believe in it. If you don’t you have to go with your “heart,” but that move wouldn’t win.

Too late. The first trap was the huge spending bill and RINOs caved. Now those RINOs will have to live with their integrity-lacking reputation and the Country will suffer the economic consequences. Meanwhile, the leftists are laughing themselves silly with their successful ploy.
