Trump Has Major Primary Election Night Wins

Via TTN:

Tuesday’s Republican primaries in Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Washington once again tested the strength of 45th President Donald Trump’s endorsement — and it proves that it’s worth its weight in gold.

In Arizona, Trump’s endorsed U.S. Senate candidate Blake Masters dominated, while gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake won the GOP nomination to advance in November. Trump-endorsed Mark Finchem won the Republican nomination for Secretary of State.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt defeated all other candidates in the crowded U.S. Senate field, including former Gov. Eric Greitens and U.S. Rep. Vicky Hartzler. Trump endorsed “Eric” but did not say which Eric specifically got his support.

In Michigan’s gubernatorial primary, Republican Tudor Dixon, a former television host, won her party’s nomination with the help of Trump’s endorsement. Rep. Peter Meijer, who voted to impeach the 45th President, was defeated by Trump-backed John Gibbs — another victory against anti-Trump Republicans.

In two rare losses for Trump, pro-impeachment Republican Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler won her primary against two conservative candidates who helped split the vote in her favor. Rep. Dan Newhouse, another Republican who voted to impeach Trump, narrowly won his primary. These results, however, are subject to change, with final numbers coming in Wednesday or Thursday.

Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt, endorsed by Trump, won the Republican nomination for governor to go up against extremely vulnerable Democrat Gov. Laura Kelly.

These results continue to put Trump’s endorsement power to the test and prove that a Trump endorsement is a valuable tool to have for Republican candidates.
