Monday Marks ‘Opinion Day’ for Supreme Court

The Justices will release “one or more” opinions next Monday, May 16th.

The justices met privately for the first time since the leaked Roe opinion draft, according to the Associated Press.

The Court did not disclose what was discussed, but SCOTUSblog announced the opinion day shortly after. By custom, only the justices attended the meeting with no aides or other staff allowed.

Conservatives and legal experts called for a quick release of the Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case after the leak, saying it would avoid exposing the court to intimidation tactics and public pressure.
