DeSantis Offers Nothing to Biden 


Ron DeSantis dealt a blow to Biden this past week when he refused to deploy the National Guard to DC for the State of the Union address. 

Prior to the address, Biden was looking to lockdown DC and need the national guard to do so. Several governors capitulated and one of the few who did not was Governor Ron DeSantis. 


Federal Judge Give GOP a Major Boon Ahead of 2022 


A Federal Judge has allowed a new district map to stand in Georgia. This map was debated heavily and widely criticized because it gave Republicans an advantage over Democrats. 

Federal District Judge Steve Jones has rejected claims from civil rights groups that have alleged the map disenfranchised African American voters. 


US Warns Allies About New Chinese Hacking Tool


Researchers are coming out to warn US allies that the Chinese government has a powerful new set of hacking tools that may have been around for over a decade. These hacking tools may be the edge China has been using to win the cyber war for years.

“The capabilities of this malware are remarkable and would be extremely difficult to detect without this public research,” said Neil Jenkins, chief analytics officer at the Cyber Threat Alliance.

Vikram Thakur, a technical director with Symantec, said the discovery is noteworthy because of the sale of its intrusions and advanced nature. He claims its victims include high level government agencies in Asia and Africa, including Ministries of Justice.


Will Joe Manchin Switch Parties?


Democrat Senator Joe Manchin has been the subject of a lot of debate over the past few years, now some think that he is going to switch political parties. While nothing is clear yet, Joe Manchin has been raising concerns that Democrats have lost it and recently gave a clear sign of where he stands politically. At the recent State of the Union address, Joe Manchin chose to sit with Republicans instead of Democrats. Some experts say that this may be a sign he is going to switch parties in the near future.
