Everything You Need to Know About Amy Coney Barrett

Amy Coney Barrett, a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals of the 7th Circuit, is reportedly one of the top contenders for President Trump’s nomination to the seat vacated by the death of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Ginsburg was the face of the liberal bloc on the Supreme Court, meaning that an appointment by Trump and confirmation by the Republican-controlled Senate could potentially significantly shift the ideological balance of the court for years. Barrett’s record, including cases she’s ruled on during her time as an appeals judge and her scholarship as a law professor at Notre Dame, are set to be intensely scrutinized by the media and the Senate Judiciary Committee should Trump choose her.

Are some of you as concerned as I am watching merit being displaced by affirmative action as the concept being expedited to choose some of our citizens who make policy for us?

People praise Ginsburg but I do not. If in fact it is true that she said it was her fervent wish that she not be replaced before the current Election is over, then I think she was being highly irresponsible and quite frankly contributing to the violence and anarchy that we are currently experiencing in blue states. I don’ t see how Justices of the Supreme Court have the right to personalize their decisions and make policies which they are not empowered to do. They are suppose to rule on the laws and Constitution as written and not allow their personal feelings, philosophy or politics to cloud their judgement as to their charge. I think with the current group of Leftists on the Court they have totally forgotten their Oath to uphold the Constitution and Ginsburg was one of them.

I just hope that Amy Coney Barrett is as bad as the liberals make her out to be. She will fit in nicely with the rest of the conservatives on the court.
