Trump Campaign Makes Major Postponement

Via The Washington Examiner:

President Trump’s reelection campaign postponed an event in Wisconsin “out of an abundance of caution because of the coronavirus outbreak.”

Tim Murtaugh, a campaign spokesman, said late Wednesday that next week’s event in Milwaukee would be rescheduled. The president was supposed to launch a “Catholics for Trump” coalition there next Thursday.

The White House also announced Wednesday that Trump would not be traveling to Colorado or Nevada later this week because of the outbreak. The president was scheduled to attend a roundtable on conservation in Denver on Friday. On Saturday, he was set to give the keynote address to the Republican Jewish Coalition’s conference in Las Vegas.

The 2020 presidential campaigns of former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders have also canceled their events in the wake of the outbreak.
