Biden Notches Final Super Tuesday Victory

Via The Washington Examiner:

Joe Biden is projected to win the Maine primary narrowly.

The Associated Press made the call Wednesday afternoon, making it the 10th victory for the former vice president on Super Tuesday.

The tight race between Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders made the race too close to call until nearly every vote had been counted. With 95% of precincts reporting, Biden carried a lead of just 1 percentage point over Sanders.

Sanders, who is a senator from the nearby state of Vermont, lost his delegate lead to Biden on Tuesday night. Biden had a strong showing after being endorsed by former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who dropped out of the 2020 race in the days before Super Tuesday.
