Kellyanne Conway said 2020 Democrat Michael Bloomberg should start firing campaign staffers after his first presidential debate appearance.
Conway sounded off on the former New York City mayor’s performance on Twitter while he contended with his primary opponents on the debate stage in Las Vegas Wednesday night. The White House adviser insinuated that Bloomberg performed poorly, insisting he should fire any staffers who claim he did the opposite.
“Mike Bloomberg should fire two groups of people tonight: those who helped with debate prep and those who squeal ‘GREAT JOB!!’ as he exits the debate stage,” she tweeted.
Conway also retweeted several other accounts critical of Bloomberg’s debate performance, including a tweet from the New York Times that highlighted a moment in the debate when Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren slammed Bloomberg for his past comments on women.
