Montana Dem Ends Presidential Bid

Via The Washington Examiner:

Steve Bullock has dropped out of the 2020 race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The Montana governor entered his party’s primary relatively late, announcing in May after forming Big Sky Values PAC in 2017, which helped fund his travel around the country.

From the beginning of his campaign, Bullock, 53, struggled to gain support. Most polls throughout the primary race never had him registering more than 1-2% in support. Bullock’s late start prevented him from garnering enough support in the polls and campaign contributions to make the first 2020 Democratic debate stage in Miami in late June.

Bullock, first elected Montana governor in 2012, told CNN also he would not run for Senate in 2020, depriving Democrats of a top-tier candidate to challenge Republican incumbent Steve Daines.
