Legendary GOP Congressman Makes Heartbreaking Announcement

Via The Washington Examiner:

Rep. Peter King, a 14-term Republican congressman from New York, announced he will not be seeking reelection.

He becomes the 20th House Republican to announce that he won’t be running for another term in 2020.

“The prime reason for my decision was that after 28 years of spending 4 days a week in Washington, D.C., it is time to end the weekly commute and be home in Seaford,” he said in a statement Monday.

King, 75, said he and his wife, Rosemary, are both in good health and want to spend more time with their children, Sean and Erin, and their grandchildren.
