Fired Fox Host Announces New Political Position

Former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle announced her new role as the Vice Chairwoman of nonprofit organization America First after leaving the conservative news outlet last week on Tuesday.

Sources told that Guilfoyle was intentionally not given the opportunity to say goodbye to viewers on Friday, and HuffPost also reported that her departure from the network was not “voluntary.”

Conversely, a source close to her told TheDC, “Fox has known for a while that she was planning on moving to the America First PAC and her leaving Fox is 100-percent voluntary. She is very excited about her new challenge and is appreciative that she had a great run with Fox News.”

America First is “the primary super PAC dedicated to electing federal candidates who support the agenda of the Trump-Pence administration,” according to their website. They are “committed to creating an America where prosperity, safety and strength reign.”
