Fondlin’ Franken To Make BIG ANNOUNCEMENT Tomorrow

Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., on Wednesday afternoon said he will make an announcement on Thursday as members of his own party call on him to resign.

Earlier Wednesday, a former congressional aide accused the comedian-turned-lawmaker of sexually harassing and trying to assault her. The unnamed woman is the seventh person to come forward with these types of allegations against the senator.

Franken denied the accusation, as he has the others.

By mid-Wednesday, female senators began calling for Franken’s immediate resignation. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., was the first lawmaker to demand he leave office.
