GOP Rep In Hot Water Over DISGUSTING Allegations

Texas Republican Rep. Blake Farenthold settled a sexual harassment lawsuit in 2014 with $84,000 of taxpayer money after a staffer complained about a hostile work environment, sexual harassment and gender discrimination.

The lawsuit, brought by former Farenthold spokeswoman Lauren Greene, alleged that Farenthold’s office was a hostile work environment filled with lewd comments about sex, Politico reports.

Greene’s complaint alleges that Farenthold aide Bob Haueter, who currently serves as chief of staff, would tell her of his “sexual fantasies” and “wet dreams” about her. Farenthold himself had a “tendency to flirt,” Greene alleges.

“Farenthold regularly drank to excess, and because of his tendency to flirt, the staffers who accompanied him to Capitol Hill functions would joke that they had to be on ‘red head patrol to keep him out of trouble,’” Greene claimed in her lawsuit. “On one occasion, prior to February 2014, during a staff meeting at which [Greene] was in attendance, Farenthold disclosed that a female lobbyist had propositioned him for a ‘threesome.’”
