On “Saturday Night Live,” Alec Baldwin returned to play President Donald Trump, but the ratings were the lowest they have been since Trump was sworn in, according to Deadline.
The 58-year-old actor mocked Trump on the late-night comedy sketch, but the NBC show brought in just a 4.5 household rating. The last time the actor was on the show in February, when Melissa McCarthy played an unhinged press secretary Sean Spicer, drew a 7.2 rating.
In the coveted age demographic 18-49, the early numbers reveal that Saturday’s show did a 2.1 among metered-market households, compared to a 3.6 the last time the actor played Trump. While the numbers are the lowest since Trump’s inauguration, the ratings are still up by 10 percent in metered-market households compared to how the show did last year at the same time.
Baldwin appeared at the top of the show with a sketch playing Trump speaking to a small group of supporters in Kentucky.
